A Spoon Restaurant a Great Market Hall on his gallery, just above the main entrance on Vámház körút. Our cosy environment is made special by the old kitchen utensils and the equipment, so that our guests can experience the intimate atmosphere of the old Hungarian homes.

In our restaurant we have been serving traditional Hungarian cuisine for more than 25 years, prepared every day with fresh ingredients from the Fair Hall - with as much love as if our grandmother had cooked it.

Our team, who cook from the heart

Zoltán Fodor
Managing Director

Zoli has been part of the team since 1999 - literally from the beginning. He started as a waiter and now runs the restaurant. He is not only our oldest member, but also the heart and engine without whom the place would not be the same. Chances are you'll still bump into him today, because he's there almost every day, spinning, helping, organising.

Attila Markó-Markech
Chef

Attila joined us as a chef in 2010 and since then he has not only risen through the ranks, but has also won our hearts. He is now the head chef - a master of flavours and a champion of farming. He is responsible for ensuring that the iconic dishes of the Fakanal are served to our guests every day with the same quality.

Ildikó Nánássy-Németh
Sales Director

Lidi joined the Group during her university internship and joined us in 2008. Since then she has been in charge of the events and tourism groups business and is also responsible for our communication. If the Fakanal appears anywhere, it's sure to have his hand in it.

Viktor Váradi
Restaurant manager

Viktor joined us in 2023, but he has already proven himself in other areas of the Group. He is lightning quick with solutions and his sense of humour is legendary in the team. He's the one who keeps things under control and does everything he can to ensure our guests leave satisfied - and return.
